Pink with embroidered kimono cherry blossoms
This lovely cushion has an embroidered panel with three huge thick pale pink, white, gold and mauve cherry blossoms on it from a vintage Japanese “Uchikake” or wedding Kimono. It has a side panel, of spectacular hot pink silk satin embroidered with small pale yellow, blue and white flowers and leaves on it. It has a row of shot gold and pink piping down the centre and three rows of pastel coloured grosgrain ribbon over the pink embroidered satin. The entire edge is piped with an English pink crushed velvet and it is backed with a differently toned pink crushed velvet. A zip on the bottom gives access to the soft enclosed made-to-measure 100% feather insert. This is a very fragile work of Art. Dry cleaning recommended.
