Smoky blue cushion with gold kimono box
This spectacular cushion has a thickly embroidered panel to one side of a huge gold and turquoise box surrounded by tassels and pale pink, white and mauve cherry blossoms, from a vintage Japanese “Uchikake” or wedding Kimono. The side panel is of a beautiful smoky blue English crushed velvet. It has a row of greenish-aqua-blue pom-pom fringe between the two fabrics and the outer edge of the cushion is piped with a light aqua thick pile cotton velvet. It is backed with the light aqua thick pile cotton velvet. A zip on the bottom gives access to the soft enclosed 100% feather insert. Dry cleaning recommended.
